Los Angeles based architecture firm Brooks + Scarpa, designed this Aesop store in downtown LA. Using a warm natural color palette, and in keeping with the simple design of the skin, hair, and body care company, the designers used 6 inch cardboard tubes to create the walls, fuiture, fixtures found in the space.
Located on the edge of the Los Angeles Fashion District, the cardboard tubes are a tribute to the empty fabric bolts often found in the fashion, costume, and design studios also in the neighborhood.
The natural cardboard walls, fuiture, and fixtures compliment the tones found in the original concrete floor of the 1929 building and help the already tall space feel even taller thanks to the vertical arrangement of the tubes.
Shelves that appear to be made from the same recycled paper that makes up the countertop of the service desk, line the walls and cantilever out to support the products.

Ceramic home decor is a great way to bring texture and and color into your home. It can be done in a number of ways on both large and small scales depending on how much you trust yourself with the fragile material. Here are 6 ways you can include pieces of ceramic home decor in your interiors.
1. VASES
The great thing about vases is that they look great both on their own and with flowers in them. Ceramic vases are extra nice because the stems of flowers canrsquo;t be seen through them.
These super simple minimalist white ceramic vases look great both on their own and as a set.
White ceramic bottle vases in mode matte white from Sara Paloma.
These geometric ceramic vases add depth and dimension to your interior and create the perfect home for a bouquet of fresh flowers.

Small bud vases like these white and gold ones are great for putting wild flowers or small branches in to liven up your space.

Despite having well over 20,000 locations worldwide, Starbucks still manages to create unique stores that combine their iconic style with details reflective of the culture and customs of the city in which itrsquo;s built.
By including locally sourced materials and incorporating elements unique to the area, together with rich coffee-inspired colors and natural materials, Starbucks is able to design locations that are original yet completely familiar.
Here are 11 examples of Starbucks shops that show how creating a familiar and consistent feel doesnrsquo;t mean sacrificing originality or uniqueness.

Navy blue is one of those colors that just doesnrsquo;t get enough attention. Itrsquo;s super versatile, and depending on how you use it and what you pair it with, can create looks that range from dark and elegant to fun and colorful.
Here are 4 ways you can use navy home decor to create the blue living room of your dreams.
1. Paint The Walls
If you really want to commit to the navy blue color scheme, take the plunge and paint your walls. Yoursquo;ll create a dramatic effect and be able to create an elegant yet mode interior with the fuiture and decor you add to the space.

2. Couch / Sofa
If you want to add navy decor to your living room but arenrsquo;t quite ready to cover your walls in the color, try adding a navy couch. Itrsquo;s the largest piece of fuiture in the room so it will definitely make a statement, but it wonrsquo;t be quite as dramatic as painting the walls.
